CBS The Green Parents Council have once again pulled out all the stops and hosted a very successful “Careers Day” for students on Wednesday last for College Awareness Week.

The initiative was taken on and organised by parents Breda Dyland and John Gannon. They were assisted on the day by Frederick Duyile.

They decided on a range of speakers for the day based on what past leaving cert pupils had taken up after doing their exams and also based on future interest.

The day went according to plan with all feedback being positive from both students and professionals.

The organisers would like to, on behalf of staff and students, sincerely thank all of those who took part and who made the day possible.

All in all, it seems that the Parents Council Careers Day will become an annual event and will be one that The Green is very proud of.
