THE hottest day of the year so far was a bonus for families arriving at St John’s Church on Saturday morning for First Holy Communion Day.
It was the turn of 47 second class pupils from Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn to receive the sacrament and they were well prepared by teachers Edel Ní Shuilleabháin and Deirdre Ní Chionnaith.
