THE Rose Hotel was the venue on Thursday night for a celebration of all that is great about Presentation Secondary School Tralee.
Students and their families gathered for the annual occasion where numerous awards were presented for academic, artistic and sporting achievements, as well as for students’ contribution to the school community.
Teacher Margaret Barry was MC for the evening, with new Principal, Mairead Finucane, welcoming everyone and commending the award winners. Guest of honour was ‘Pres girl’ Minister for Education Norma Foley who gave an inspiring speech to students.

Guest award presenters were farmer and lecturer, Shane McAuliffe, for the Ag Science Award, Heather Kenny O’Sullivan of John Ross jewellers for the Enterprise Award and Teresa Higgins Walker Lee Strand presented the Lee Strand Award which included a laptop donated by Lee Strand.
