SIAMSA Tíre’s theatre was a busy spot on Friday for 12 hours of talking from a number of inspiring speakers.
The event was TEDx Tralee, an independently organised event, licensed by TED, featuring local and national voices and TED Talks videos under the theme of ‘New Beginnings’.
Over 80 people attended the talks and enjoyed main stage presentations from an eclectic group of speakers from a variety of backgrounds and unique experiences all sharing their stories and big ideas.

Among the Kerry speakers were Caroline Reidy, Chris Barrett Grett O’Connor Buckley Anthony Garvey and Breanndan Ó Beaghlaoich among many others from all over the country. The event was a great success and organisers were delighted with the turnout.
Launched in 2009, TEDx is a program of locally organised events that bring the community together to share a TED-like experience.
