A FANTASTIC day was had in Ballybunion on Sunday where around 500 people from north Kerry (many from Tralee) enjoyed a ‘Frozen’ Party.
JD’s Nightclub was transformed for the event where children enjoyed numerous activites and got to meet the characters from the popular animated movie phenomenon. The cost was €10 per child but adults went free.
There was nail and face painting stands, a disco, a screening of the movie, bouncy castle, food stands and much, much more which kept the little ones happy for hours.
It was all down to the efforts of the Ballybunion Events committee who said the event was a huge success and all monies raised will go towards funding further events and the Christmas festivities.
“We cannot even begin to thank everyone as so many people helped to take a part in this community event,” said a statement on their Facebook page. “The tenacity and determination of our face painters, nail varnishers and hair braiders was a credit to every little Elsa or Anna that left the party. However, the stars of the show had to be the characters, who brought so many smiles to so many faces.”
