THERE was a great turnout at the annual Kerry Hospice Good Friday Walk which set off from The Grand Hotel yesterday.
It was the 20th Good Friday Walk organised by Kerry Hospice which started in 1998 and around 200 set out on the walk with a few runners taking part two.
The weather wasn’t too kind with misty rain spoiling things a little on a route which took participants out by Lohercannon to Blennerville, across by Ballydunlea, down Ballyard by the rugby club, and back to the Grand Hotel. Refreshments were provided in The Grand afterwards for all who participated in the walk.
The money raised will go towards Kerry Hospice’s new inpatient unit which will be opened later in the year. Scroll down for photos…
