THEY got some weather for the Good Friday walks around Kerry yesterday!
The annual walk was the brainchild of the late Ted Moynihan who set up the Tralee walk over 23 years ago and it has gone from strength to strength over the years, spreading all around the county.
There were 25 walks including Tralee, Spa/Fenit, Inch beach (Annascaul walk), Killarney, Ballyheigue, Milltown, Ballybunion, Listowel, Killorglin, Castlegregory, Fenit, Tarbert and Kilcummin along with six more on the Iveragh peninsula.

The Tralee walk was renamed the Ted Moynihan Walk this year and there was a good crowd outside The Grand Hotel at 10am to set off on the route. When they returned all enjoyed a well-deserved cuppa and a scone thanks to the hotel.
Over the years, a huge amount of money has been raised for the KHF along with the Palliative Care Unit and no doubt thousands more were added to that yesterday. Well done all. Scroll down for photos…
