AS darkness fell in Tralee on Wednesday evening, the pupils, families and staff of Caherleaheen NS gathered in St. John’s church as the pupils prepared to wow their families with their annual Christmas Carol Service.
The Junior and Senior Infant classes started off the night with a beautiful Nativity play performed through fantastic story telling and songs. The more senior classes followed them with a medley of Christmas carols and songs.
Fifth and Sixth class closed the show with a beautiful rendition of “Carol of the Bells”.
The Principal, Donal O’Connor, thanked the staff and pupils for all the hard work they put in over the past few weeks and was very proud of the performance by all. He also welcomed Fr Piotr into their school community and thanked St John’s for the use of the church again this year.
