THERE was a fantastic atmosphere at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Friday night as all at Crotta O’Neills celebrated the past year.
With a third County Minor title in four years secured back in August, there was a lot to celebrate too.
The victorious minor hurling panel received their County Championship medals from special guest Richie McCarthy, All Ireland Senior Hurler and All Star with Limerick.
The club’s Hall Of Fame award (Matt Stack and P J Stack Memorial Trophy) was presented to Mike Leen. The Senior Hurler of The Year went to Shane Nolan.

Cillian Trant, the minor hurler of the year, received the Monty McElligott Memorial award, the intermediate player of the year, Jack Twomey, received the Maurice Egan Memorial award and the U-21 player of the year, Tomas O’Connor, received the Diarmuid Galvin Memorial award.
The Sam Hilliard Memorial Trophy was presented to The Club Person of The Year, Paul Sheehan.
Music on the night was provided by Big Jim and those attending enjoyed great food, music and dancing to the wee hours. Scroll down for photos…
