THERE were big crowds in Siamsa Tíre on Saturday for two shows which formed the highlight of the performances during the National Circus of Ireland Festival taking place in Tralee over the past four days.

The family-friendly variety show, ‘Circus Siamsa’ was another huge success with two shows at 2pm and 5.30pm featuring acts from the UK, Germany, Catalunya, Brazil, Spain and Galway.

Tralee man Con Horgan, a prime organiser of the festival, was delighted with how the festival was going.

“The numbers are good this year and we’re getting more ownership from the people of the town who are feeling more and more like it’s their festival,” he said. Scroll down for photos…
