THE people at Tralee Local Employment Services (LES) were certainly kept busy on Friday morning when they hosted a sociable event for a great cause.
There were Christmas jumpers everywhere you looked and no small amount of goodies to be eaten the coffee morning at their offices on North Circular Road, with the funds raised aimed at bringing Christmas cheer to children at the ADAPT shelter.
“We decided to do an event for Christmas, so we organised a coffee morning to raise funds to buy Christmas toys for the children at the ADAPT shelter in Tralee,” said Co-ordinator at Tralee LES, Elaine McKenna.
“We, as a team here, wanted to make a contribution to the community and we want to thank the local agencies and employers who donated spot prizes for the raffle. We’re delighted with the turnout and the whole event,” said Elaine.
So they should be, as it was well supported by the local community. Scroll down for photos…
