A CRAFT fair held last Saturday in Kilmoyley raised €1,500 for the local primary school at the local community centre.
A huge crowd braved Storm Desmond to attend the fair which consisted of works of art, cakes, gift vouchers, floral displays, novelty cakes and hampers. Santa Claus also made and appearance to entertain the small ones, while ‘Big Jim’ provided the festive music.
School principal Áine Crowe said raising the funds could not have been achieved without the generosity of everyone who supported it.
The dynamic organising committee, Parents Association, Board of Management and Joan Donnelly and Mary Doherty were praised from making the event such a success, while Helen Lynch and her team in charge of raffle sales on the day did a tremendous job, and a huge number of tickets were sold.
The festive entertainment in Kilmoyley doesn’t end there.
