ROSE of Tralee Escort of the Year and Spa native, Shane Kenny, is heading off to help children in an asylum in Belarus and he’s hoping you’ll help him raise funds for the charity.
Full-time UCC student and part-time pumpkin surgeon (click here) Shane, is planning to travel with a cohort of Roses to support Adi Roche’s Chernobyl International charity in February.
“We are trying to raise as much money as possible between here and then to support the astounding work being done by the charity. Every cent will go to the charity. In particular we will visit the Vesnova Children’s mental asylum,” said Shane on his Facebook page.

“I appreciate that there are so many worthy causes to support this Christmas and beyond, but I cannot stress how influential your contribution will be towards providing these kids with some semblance of a normal life,” wrote Shane.
