THE big day finally arrived for pupils from Caherleaheen NS and St Brendan’s NS Fenit on Saturday, as they received First Holy Communion.
Seventeen pupils and their families made their way to the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Rathass for the ceremony where Fr Mark Moriarty was the celebrant.
Meanwhile, Fr Francis Nolan administered the sacrament to seven pupils from St Brendan’s NS in Fenit at St Joseph’s Church. The weather stayed dry thankfully so families from both schools could enjoy the day and the celebrations. Scroll down for photos…
