.The Armagh Rose celebrates a score at the Rose of Tralee 3×3 Tournament 2016 on Saturday.
THE Roses and escorts showed their basketball skills when they turned up to a tournament in Mercy Mounthawk gym on Saturday.
Organised by Tralee Imperials and sponsored by Premier Financial Services, the ‘Rose of Tralee 3×3 Tournament 2016’ saw teams compete during the morning and afternoon.
Some of the Roses visited and the escorts played a short game, blowing off the cobwebs from the night before at the Rose Ball. The Roses also had a bit of a workout and the Dublin Rose showed her strength by lifting RTE presenter Sinead Kennedy.

The tournament itself saw teams of three (with one replacement) playing on half courts with games just 10 minutes a half.
In the end the winning teams were Splash Bros. Ryan Leonard, Dara Devine, Robbie Dinan and Raul Venzcel and Tralee B.C. David McCarthy, Dominic Craig, Jason Moloney and Adam Manley. Scroll down for photos…
