GAELCHOLÁISTE Chiarraí’s TY students put on a great performance at a sold-out show on Friday evening in Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn’s hall.
The students had been rehearsing for ‘Til Death Do Us Part’, an original comedy drama written by Mary Quirke of Qwerkreation Productions, for a number of weeks and the hard work paid off with a great night of entertainment.
“We’re delighted to be able to avail of Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn’s hall and they have facilitated us in every way,” said Mary Quirke, who has worked with the Transition year students in the school for the past two years as a Drama facilitator.

“Wednesday was our first full rehearsal on site and there were a few glitches, but we have them ironed out for tonight,” she added.
The TY students have won awards at the All-Ireland Transition Year Drama Festival both this year and last year and decided to produce a full length play, the first time that the school undertook such a project.
