THE lads from Croí Restaurant in Tralee gave a cookery demo last night, fresh from their win at the Irish Restaurant Awards regional finals in Cork on Wednesday.
In the guise of the Tralee Culinary Gangsters, Noel Keane and Kevin O’Connor were joined by Massimiliano Bagaglini from Once Upon A Cheese for the demo, held in aid of Scoil Eoin at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.
Organised by the Parents Association at the primary school to raise funds to be used in the new school extension once built, despite the wind and rain howling outside the event was well supported.

Guests enjoyed some cheese and wine on arrival before the demo, where the three chefs cooked with local ingredients in season. They had some help on the night from 5th class pupils.
The monies raised on the night will be used to install herb gardens to complement the cookery room and also plants for the sensory garden for the new ASD /Autistic unit.
There were raffles and spot prizes on the night and there will be a selection of lovely foodie prizes won. Scroll down for photos…
