THERE was frightening shenanigans in the Scout Hall on Matt Talbot Road on Friday as the pupils of Blennerville NS enjoyed their annual Christmas party.
“It’s something we do every year in the school. It’s a bit of treat for them really,” said Raphael Crowley of the Parents Council.
“We have the smallies early on and the early kids later in the evening.There’s snacks and treats and the teachers are encouraged to dress up as well,” he said.

The fancy dress party was in full swing when TraleeToday.ie arrived with witches, goblins and ghosts while Manus Leen was doing a capable job as DJ.
The teachers too, were well turned out in their witches costumes. but I’m afraid the stress of it all took its toll on Principal Terry O’Sullivan, as you can see from the first photo below.
