TRALEE Library was the venue for photographer John Cleary to launch his latest book of images from times past on Tuesday night.
Friends, family and people who wanted to get their copies of ‘Tralee In The Good Old Days’ were present the launch by Radio Kerry’s Deirdre Walsh.
Featuring more than 300 black and white images depicting life in Kerry from the 1990’s to the present day, ‘Tralee In The Good Old Days’ is set to become another collector’s item and an invaluable social history of the period.
It’s his fourth book after ‘Through the Lens’, ‘T’was Only Like Yesterday, ‘As Time Goes By’ were released in the last three years featuring images from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

As well as images, John has also profiled a number of Tralee personalities including Mark Leen, Oliver Hurley, Eddie Shanahan, Ena O’Shea, Jimmy McDonnell, and Mike O’Donnell.
