THE students of the QQI Level 5 Professional Cookery and Hospitality Operations course at Kerry College pulled out all the stops on Thursday at a special fundraiser with all proceeds going to Tony Noonan’s Christmas Lights Charity.
There was a get-together for staff and students in the main canteen of the Clash Campus where guest speaker was Tony Noonan from Templeglantine, with tasty treats were served and donations encouraged. Eventually, €335.31 was raised.
Tony —who spectacularly lights up his home every year and welcomes donations to charities Recovery Haven Cancer Support House; Slí Eile, Churchtown, Co. Cork; Limerick Suicide Watch and Milford Care Centre — spoke passionately about the impact that this fundraiser would have for the four beneficiaries.
