THE ladies from Johnny’s Cottage held the launch of their first book on Sunday night in The Grand Hotel
Miriam Owens Moriarty, Breeda Hurley and Aine Callaghan have amassed a following of over 30,000 fans on Facebook and now they have compiled a book where they share a compilation of family recipes, story-telling, and a bit of craic.
“It’s been two years in the making. People were asking us when we were doing recipes online if we would think about compiling them in a book, so we did,” said Breeda.

“We’re delighted with the turnout here,” said Miriam. “People have come from all over to the launch, from Dublin and Athlone and there’s a 94 year old lady who travelled over from Listowel to be here,” she added.
