IT’S about time!
While we’ve had sunny days this year, but Wednesday was the first time you could go outdoors with short sleeves and enjoy warm sunshine, without a cool breeze spoiling things.
Those who could took advantage of the conditions and went for walks in the Town Park or anywhere outdoors, while you can be sure working folk took advantage come clocking off time and headed for some fresh air.
It’s not looking as good for tomorrow though, as the Met Eireann prediction for Munster is as follows; “Apart from some hazy sunny spells in northern parts of the province at first, Thursday will be a cloudier day in Munster. Still mostly dry and bright but some patchy light rain will develop in parts of the south and southwest of the province during the afternoon and evening. Highs of 12 to 16 Celsius and winds will be light to moderate east to northeast but a little fresher at times along southern coasts.”
