THERE was a great turnout for the National Folk Theatre Choir’s inaugural performance on Thursday night at Siamsa Tíre.
Ceilúradh na Nollag, under the direction of Choral Mistress, Geraldine Hurley, featured traditional Irish Christmas songs as well as the popular carols loved by many.
The choir of almost 30 were joined by the young students of the National Folk Theatre training schemes as well as by special guests, Marina Cassidy and Sarah Jane Drummey.
The audience were treated to complimentary mince pies and mulled wine before heading in to enjoy the amazing performance.
