A POPULAR Killarney photographer was honoured on Friday with a Civic Reception by The Mayor of Killarney and elected members of the Killarney Municipal District.
The reception for Michelle Cooper Galvin took place at Killarney Town Hall recognising an incredible 50 year career in photojournalism.
Having started her career with the Cork Examiner in 1974, she spent the vast majority of her time in photography with The Kerryman where her wonderful talent flourished thanks to her professionalism and work ethic.

While she retired from The Kerryman in 2022, Michelle still supports local community groups.
