AFTER weeks of rehearsals and great effort on the part of teachers and pupils, there were fantastic Christmas concerts enjoyed at Presentation Primary on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Yesterday morning it was the third to sixth classes who took centrestage to perform their segments in front of a packed school hall.
Third class performed a piece based around the colours of the rainbow, while fourth class did a ‘Christmas In The Caribbean’ portrayed through song and dance movements.

Fifth class did a trio of entertainment that involves the song, ‘This Is My Island’ – which was performed in the National Concert Hall – a performance to ‘Wings’ by Little Mix and a rendition of ‘We Will Rock You’.
‘Lights, Camel, Action’ was performed by a sixth class which was a take on Strictly Come Dancing but based around the nativity with a bit of ballet, tango and funky dance elements, while another sixth class did a segment called ‘A Little Princess’.
There was Christmas songs, Irish dancing and musical performances and Eve, Roksana and Olivia from sixth class sang O Holy Night for the finale as they were joined by the whole school lighting up the hall with candles. Well done to all involved. Scroll down for photos…
