THERE was great excitement for pupils and staff from St Brendan’s NS in Blennerville last night as they put on their annual Christmas Concert in St John’s Church.
Hundreds of family members came to the church to hear the pupils sing Christmas classics and some well known modern festive songs as well.
The Junior Infants were first up with a selection of Nativity-themed songs, followed by more senior classes who performed a medley of carols and songs.
There was also a performance of Kodaline’s ‘High Hopes’ to add a pop element to the evening.
Principal Terry O’Sullivan thanked the pupils and staff for putting in such a huge effort into preparing for the night and Fr Francis Nolan and St John’s for letting them use the church for the concert.
