IT was a blustery and showery afternoon west of the bridge on Sunday, but a group of around 40 people still turned up for St Pat’s GAA Club annual fundraising walk.
Held in aid of Palliative Care Unit and in memory of the late Tony O’Donoghue, a great stalwart of the club, the walkers/runners set off on the 5k route and stayed out of the rain for the most part.
They returned to tea/coffee, cakes and baked goodies back in the clubhouse. Tony’s daughter Andrea thanked everyone for keeping the tradition of the walk alive.
