THERE was poor weather on Thursday night but there was fun in the warmth of Kirbys Brogue Inn for a table quiz for a great cause.

There was a hamper and loads of spot prizes up for grabs at the quiz in aid of Recovery Haven. It was the latest fundraiser for the cancer support facility which provides such an amazing service for sufferers and their families.

People will have a chance to see these services at their open day at their Killerisk base on Saturday, February 4, which is also World Cancer Day.
