WHO wrote ‘Auld Lang Syne’? Which national soccer team is known as La Albicelestes? Which country has the beaver as its national emblem?

These were just some of the questions fired at participants in a table quiz in town last night.

And with spot prizes like two nights in Sheen Falls Lodge and three nights B&B on a Dark Skies themed tour of South Kerry, it was no wonder there were around 20 tables taken for the Tralee Dynamos FC Table Quiz on Thursday night.

The Huddle Bar was the venue for a great night of entertainment to raise funds for the Under 12/13 team who are heading to Kidderminster Harriers FC in England on Friday, January 25.

There they will enjoy three days of top coaching and games against local team and one game against an underage side from a Premier League team.

With many, many spot prizes on offer it was a great night and a very competitive quiz to test people’s sport, music and general knowledge. By the way, the answers to the above questions are Robert Burns, Argentina and Canada. Scroll down for photos…
