IT was a very busy day in Recovery Haven on Friday as they hosted an Open Day and Corporate Launch at Killerisk.
Special guests on the day were Dr Eddie Murphy of Operation Transformation and patrons Mr Dick Spring and Dr Edmond Harty, while Aidan O’Mahony also made an appearance.
Dr Eddie Murphy, a Registered Clinical Psychologist, made a short presentation and shared powerful psychological insights and tools to those attending to help them achieve their personal goals and promote psychological well-being.
Mr Spring launched their corporate brochure and website and it was an opportunity to promote the Ring of Kerry Cycle, which they will benefit from this year.
It was also an occasion to see two cheques presented to the cancer support facility. FEXCO employees raised €2,241 through various charity events in the past year, while Noel and Sheila Hartnett’s annual concert at the Earl of Desmond back in April realised an amazing €4,200.
