TRALEE Tidy Towns was honoured for receiving the gold medal in competition at a Fáilte Ireland ceremony in the Listowel Arms Hotel at the weekend.
They were joined by representatives from towns and villages all over the county and west Limerick at the event which honoured the efforts made by the many volunteers who give their time and effort to ensure others can have pride in the appearance of the place in which they live.
The Competition now in its 60th year had a record 883 towns and villages entered. The Awards are hosted by the Department of Rural and Community Affairs, sponsored by SuperValu and supported by Fáilte Ireland. Scroll down for photos…
