SCOIL Eoin gave out their annual Student Council School Spirit Award winner this morning and as always it was a popular choice.

Tomás Kennedy, a fifth class pupil, won the award after being nominated twice — once by his class teacher Mr. John Brosnan and also by his P. B. L. teacher Mrs. Veronica Donovan.

Tomás was chosen due to his leadership qualities and his awareness of teamwork and fairness. He is also a strong role model and promotes excellence in behaviour. He is a mentor both in the class and on the sports field.

Meanwhile, a treat was provided for students when the ice-cream van pulled into the schoolyard so they could enjoy a cone in the sun courtesy of the school. Scroll down for photos…
