AUSTIN Stacks fans will be ‘walking in a Rockie wonderland’ this winter after the club won its 13th senior county championship this afternoon in Austin Stack Park.

They deservedly beat arch-rivals Kerins O’Rahillys by 0-13 to 0-10 to spark wild celebrations among their colourful supporters who ran onto the field at the final whistle to congratulate their heroes.

That’s to take nothing away from Austin Stacks who were hungrier, more tenacious in the tackle, clinical in their attacks and fully worth the win.

They’ll celebrate this one for many days to come, while the blue side of town will want to hibernate for the winter. Scroll down for photos (more coverage on the way tomorrow)…
