THE celebrations continued on Wednesday for Garveys Tralee Warriors after their National Cup success in Dublin at the weekend.
Team members and assistant coach Jimmy Diggins began a tour of the town’s primary schools with the Pat Duffy Cup and were wildly cheered by the children wherever they went.
Team captain Fergal O’Sullivan was accompanied by players Kieran Donaghy, Brandon Cotton, Nikola Roso, Ronalds Elksnis, Aaron Clixate, Padraig Fleming and Aaron Fleming as they made their way to Scoil Eoin, Holy Family, CBS Primary, Moyderwell Primary, Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Tralee Educate Together, Spa NS and Blennerville NS throughout the morning.

They were greeted with the ‘let’s go Warriors, let’s go!’ chant at each stop-off where Fergal and Kieran thanked the youngsters for their support and asked them to come to the home games in Tralee Sports Complex.
They also encouraged them to join the local clubs in town to help keep basketball thriving in Tralee.
The loudest cheers were reserved for when the children were told they could have homework off for the night!
Everyone is hoping the lads will return to schools in a few months if they manage to win back the Superleague crown they last won in 2019. Scroll down for photos…
