THERE will be a number of road closures in the north Kerry area on this Sunday due to the Kerry Winter Rally stages taking place.
Kerry Motor Club is celebrating 50 years this year and its end-of-season event has been included in the month-long An Turas Mór Kerry Homecoming Festival.
The event is expected to attract rally fans from all over the county and beyond. Kerry County Council are advising the public of the following road closures during Sunday.

SS1 Kilflynn — Roads Closing Times: 08:30 to 17:00
Starting from the junction of the N69 and the L-6075 continue along the L-6075, turn right onto the L-2034 at Kilfeighny Cross. Continue past Kilfeighny Graveyard, turn right at Clandouglas South Cross onto the L-6074 Pallas.
Continue along the L-6074 to Banemore, turn left onto the L-10111 Ballygarret, continue along the L-10111.
Turn left at Clandouglas Cross onto the L- 1027, continue along the L-1027 to the junction with the L-6076, turn left on to the L-6076 (Green Road), continue along the L-6076 to Kilflynn School Cross turn left onto the L-1028.
Continue along the L-1028 to Kilflynn Bridge Cross, turn right onto the L-6507, continue along the L-6507 to the Laccamore North Cross.
SS2: Abbeydorney
Roads Closing Times 09:15 to 17:30
Starting from the TLI Group Offices near Dromcunnig Cross on the L-10469 heading west through Tubrid Beg.
Turn right onto the L-2009 Abbeydorney/Ardfert Rd and continuing as far as Milltown Cross.
Turn left at Milltown Cross onto the L-2002 (Ballylahive) heading west towards Kilgulbin Middle Cross.
Turn right at Kilgulbin Middle Cross onto the L-6081 (Ballysheen Road) and turn left for Ballyrobert Cross L-10477.
Continue through Ballyrobert Cross along the L-1034 into Sackville (Mohn Cross).
Turn right at Mohn Cross onto the L-6090 for Dineens Cross.
At Dineens Cross turn left for finish at Lawlors Cross on the R551.
In addition, all adjoining public roads will be closed for a distance of 200m from each junction within the above routes.
The Brandon Car Park, Tralee will be used as a service area and will be closed from 6pm on Saturday, to midnight on Sunday.
