MOTORISTS and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution throughout Thursday as some roads and footpaths remain hazardous after freezing temperatures overnight.
Kerry County Council says the county bounds on N21 and N22 are reported to be passable with care but many local and regional roads, particularly on high ground and in sheltered areas are extremely slippery this morning.
A Status Yellow Low Temperature/Ice warning for Ireland has been reissued again for tonight and Friday morning which will see out the current cold spell as milder conditions and rain is forecast for the weekend.

Met Éireann says it will be very cold again tonight with another severe frost causing icy stretches on the roads.
Again, impacts will include difficult travelling conditions, low temperature issues for vulnerable people and animal welfare issues. The warning is valid from 5pm on Thursday to 11am on Friday.
Temperatures will reach around 4°c today in the Tralee area and it will freeze overnight again. Temperatures will rise to 7°c on Friday and overnight into Saturday when the rains come.
