BENNER’S Hotel Tralee will be cooking up a storm this August Bank Holiday weekend as it plays hosts to a fundraising barbecue in aid of local cancer support charity, Recovery Haven Kerry.
The hotel’s stunning courtyard will form the ideal setting for the highly anticipated event, which takes place on Saturday, August 3rd at 7pm.
Benner’s Hotel Marketing Manager, Orlagh Winters, is pulling out all the stops on the day to ensure the event raises as much money as possible for a charity that is quite close to her heart.

“Here in Benner’s we are delighted to support such a worthy cause that has become an integral part of the county,” Orlagh said.
“There isn’t a home that hasn’t been affected by cancer and indeed among our own staff and management, cancer has hit home. Recovery Haven offers services that are vital in our community and we are proud to be affiliated with this wonderful night and look forward to welcoming guests. It promises to be a night of great fun, with hopefully some sunshine too.”
The evening will kick off with a Prosecco reception at 7pm, after which guests will be treated to a sumptuous barbecue and live music with ‘Behind the Light’, followed by a DJ. And with tickets costing just €20, organisers are hoping that Benner’s will be buzzing on the night.
PR & Marketing Officer at Recovery Haven, Marisa Reidy, says the charity is so excited to team up with Benner’s Hotel, which is now synonymous with hosting amazing social events.
