In front of a very small crowd, Crotta ended up having a big win over Dr Crokes.
Crotta were only behind once in this game which was described as “a polite game of hurling” by a friend. Crotta led at halftime 3-14 to 1-06.

Shane Nolan was the goal scorer, he was to add two more goals before the long whistle. Shane Nolan my have been the scorer in chief, but he was ably assisted by Daragh O’Donoghue, Seanie McElligott and Declan O’Donoghue.

Sean Weir lined out at centre forward and ended the game with a goal and two points. Not a great night for Dr Crokes but their ambition to play in the senior championship has to be admired.
