THE sale of a landmark hotel in a north Kerry town is nearing completion.
The Golf Hotel in Ballybunion has been closed since 2016 and went to auction earlier this year.
Tralee-based selling agent Gary O’Driscoll said unconditional contracts have now been entered into, but the sale has not yet officially closed.
The details of the potential new owner and the price for the hotel have not been revealed. The five-storey building dominates the Main Street of the town. It has 98-bedrooms, two bars, a take-away, a nightclub, and a gym.
