ALL schools and colleges in Kerry are to close for Thursday and Friday, the Department of Education has confirmed.
The decision to close schools and colleges in Munster and Leinster has been made for safety reasons due to the Status Red snow/ice warning issued this morning for the two provinces, from Thursday evening to Friday at noon.
Kerry College of Further Education in Clash, Tralee, was due to hold an information evening for parents of school leavers on Thursday evening but this has been postponed to Tuesday, March 6 at 6.30pm.
