Frank Moynihan will be teaching people a whole host of main courses and starters at his classes starting from next Monday.

WITH the winter evenings not far away, a new cooking course to brighten up Monday nights is on the way in St Brendan’s Pastoral Centre, starting next week.

Renowned chef, Frank Moynihan, is running demonstrational cooking classes during the month where people can learn how to make amazing starters and main courses with both an Irish and international theme.

Frank — who had a regular guest chef slot on Gay Byrne’s Radio 1 show — has been running cookery classes for years and is promising a wonderful way to pass an evening, but a genuine interest in cooking is essential.

“My cookery courses are about people who want to learn to cook. They are for people with a sincere interest in cooking,” said Frank.

“On the first night I will concentrate on international soups from France, Spain, Italy and indeed, here in Ireland. I’ll also be doing some breads. Night two is exclusively devoted to hot and cold starters. They won’t be difficult to make, but they are beautiful,” he continued.

“The third night I will concentrate on fish dishes and finally, on the fourth night I’ll be showing people how to cook delicious vegetarian recipes and beef, lamb and chicken dishes too,” said Frank.

Each class is two hours and 15 minutes long and the four nights cost €100 altogether.

The classes will start on Monday, October 9 and run on October 16 and 23, they take a break for Halloween, with the final class on Monday, November 6. To book your place on the course, contact Frank on 086-2627855.
