Mary O’Donnell of the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon Secours talks about her own Tribella story…

I think for me, the Tribella treatment ticked a lot of boxes.

It is time saving because it is three treatments in one session. It also addressed my numerous skin concerns!

I have rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, age spots, a scar and uneven skin tone and skin laxity. I think a lot of people would have similar issues.

The treatment itself is not like a facial but a non-invasive treatment with no surgery or needles involved which is why it appealed to me.

The first step feels like a hot stone massage and works on fine lines, wrinkles and laxity within the skin. This was my favourite part and I felt my skin was so much firmer and tighter afterwards.

Step two feels like an elastic band tipping the skin and it works on rosacea, pigmentation, skin tone and dark spots.

There is a gap for about ten minutes between each treatment to allow the skin time to recover and for the practitioner to change applicator.

The final step is a resurfacing treatment for uneven skin texture, that is amazing for collagen and elastin production which gives a lovely youthful and radiant glow to the skin.

My favourite part of the Tribella is that it keeps working after the treatment finishes, so you won’t see the full effects until about three months after your last treatment.

A total of three Tribella treatments are recommended with four weeks in between each session.

The Tribella treatment is available exclusively in Kerry at the CHRC, Bon Secours Hospital Tralee.
