The draw for the last 32 of the SFAI Sketchers Cup took place on Saturday . Our U12 side have been drawn away to face Belvedere Fc while our U13 side have also been drawn away where they will take on Naas Fc .

Sean McGrath Scores Hat Trick For Ireland U15’s;
The NDSL U15’s hosted the Irish U15’s on Sunday December 11th at the Oscar Traynor Centre for a benefit match in aid of St.Francis Hospice. Sean McGrath started as the number 8 and played well throughout the first half and bagged himself his first goal for Ireland. It was 3-1 to Ireland at half time.
Sean didn’t start the second half but came on after 15 minutes as the 9. This half went even better for Sean scoring 2 more to complete his hat trick and assisting in 2 more goals. Ireland finished 9-1 winners at the full time whistle.

St Brendans Park Fc U7 & U8 at Killarney Celtic ;
St Brendan’s Park U7& U8 academy sides enjoyed a great afternoon of football this Saturday at Killarney Celtic in a 3 team blitz in which Killarney Athletic also participated.
The 3 Park teams played excellent football, their passing was lovely to watch as well as their great spirit and skill. Some great goals were scored and the players were a credit to our club. Well done to all of the players and thanks to their parents for driving to Killarney and providing support on a fine December day.
From the coaches, Mike, Preston, Kieran and Donagh we hope you all have a great Christmas. Training takes a break until the New Year. See you all again on Saturday January 14th on the Park Astro pitch. Training from 11:50am to 1:00 pm. Happy Christmas .
U14 Premier ; Park A 1-3 Killorglin A ;
Several missed chances in the first half eventually proved costly for the Park lads who suffered their first league defeat of the season. In ideal conditions, the Park opened strongly and were causing the Killorglin back four lots of problems with lots of slick passing and good movement.
This was rewarded on 9 minutes when a Cian Brosnan free kick was parried by the Killorglin keeper into the path of Darragh Caplis who expertly finished to the back of the net. Killorglin hit back strongly however and were level within 5 minutes when a well worked move down their level resulted in a neat header squeezing inside the post.
The second half opened with both sides probing for the lead. However, 10 minutes in, a speculative effort found the back of the Park net and gave Killorglin a 2-1 lead.
Following the goal, Killorglin were the stronger side and made the game safe with a 3rd goal towards the end of the game.
So a disappointing afternoon for the Park lads, but no doubt they will bounce back from this result and will look to resume their excellent league form in the New Year.
