50 Years of Memories

We are currently trying to source old photos from the club also including memorabilia from events, matches, programmes, newsletters etc. The time frame we are focusing on is from 1973 onwards before everyone had a camera at hand! If anyone has any items that they would like to share with us, we would greatly appreciate anything of interest as we are trying to create a collage of memories from the past 50 years of our fantastic club. Thanking you in advance.

We are aware these items are of sentimental value to families, so we will only be requesting copies of photos, the facility is also available to scan newsletters/Programmes etc. if required. The originals will always be kept by the owners. Any enquiries/items can be emailed to pro.stpatricksblennerville.kerry@gaa.ie or for collection of items Sharon 0879712665, Irene 0871233254

U12/U14

Our U12/U14 Girls wrapped up their season with a medal’s presentation evening in Skelper Quanes Bar on Sunday Nov 5th. The Girls were absolutely thrilled to have one of Kerry’s greatest Senior Ladies player’s Louise Ní Mhuircheartaigh surprise them to present the girls with their medals!

Louise was kind enough to stay and take individual and group pictures with the girls, after the presentations Louise also shared some lovely advice to the team on the importance of enjoying football, keeping the practice up over the winter months and to keep working on their skills!

The parents presented the coaches with flowers to say thank you for all the commitment they have showed the girls. The coaches congratulated the girls on winning the North Kerry U14 perpetual Trophy recently, the girls were presented with a trophy each to mark their successful season.

Thanks to the generous sponsors who helped cover the cost of the medals/Trophies and the food on the night. The presentation was followed by pizza and treats for the team. It was a most enjoyable evening thanks to the coaches for organising it. This team is going from strength to strength, and we look forward to seeing them all again next season! Thanks to Sharon for the lovely pictures from the evening.
