Girls Team:

Our girls football team goes from strength to strength in only their second game, our girls had a hard fought but very impressive victory over a talented Na Gaeil side.

In a very evenly contested game, all our players impressed and were ahead up to mid way in the second half, when Na Gaeil staged a spirited comeback but with great defending by our backline of Orlaith and Sinead Murphy, and  particularly Keelin Enright and excellent, energetic football by our talented combination of midfielders, Caoimhe and Siobhan O’Sullivan, Lisa Rowan and Caoimhe Dairo who also contributed to our score line along with excellent forward play by Grainne Breen whose goal put us back in the lead.

The forward line was enhanced by great performances by Roisin Griffin and Emily Roche who passed the ball to our scorers Siobhan,Lisa, Sinead,Grainne and the two Caoimhes, Our U8 players, Millie,Kayla, Sinead and Caoilinn, along with Emma showed great versatility and skill playing in a variety of positions
