Registration 2023

Please register your membership of the Club for 2023.

One of the benefits of registering as a playing member of the GAA or LGFA via the Club is that in the event of an injury sustained playing or training resulting in medical expenses it may be possible to claim a level of refund from the GAA or LGFA Injury Benefit Fund. However, any player seeking to benefit from the Injury Benefit Fund must be a registered member of the GAA or LGFA on Foireann at the time of injury.

The respective Injury Benefit Funds are self-funded entirely from the GAA and LGFA funds with no outside involvement. The Injury Funds are not an insurance scheme. The Injury Funds are set up to assist members with some reimbursement for medical expenses incurred due to an injury sustained playing Gaelic football.

The respective Injury Benefit Funds do not seek to compensate fully for injuries sustained but to supplement other Schemes such as Personal Accident or Health Insurance. The GAA and LGFA Schemes only provide cover for unrecoverable losses up to the limits specified under the respective Schemes. More details can be viewed onhttps://learning.gaa.ie/InjuryFund or https://ladiesgaelic.ie/resources/injury-fund/

Foireann Mobile App

A Foireann mobile app is now available, and this is the only official membership and communications app for GAA, LGFA & Camogie clubs. The app is available for both iOS (via the Apple Store) and Android devices (via Google Play). The Foireann Mobile app makes it even easier to manage your Foireann profile and all the ways you interact with the Club. We ask all members to download the app as it will make it easier to manage membership, update contact details and keep up to date with team activities.

The Foireann membership and communications app is fully integrated with the Foireann membership system – members can log in on the app with their existing Foireann account to see upcoming events which includes event details for anyone in your Family. The app also puts news, fixtures, and results in your pocket so you can stay up to date with the most important and relevant information.

Foireann is the GAA system used by clubs to manage membership and it allows members to register for membership and pay online using the Mobile app or the Foireann system

U5

We had a great turnout again for our St Pats Under 5 academy in the MTU. The boys and girls are joining in with enthusiasm and getting plenty of movement with fundamental skills.

Our running , jumping and changing direction is excellent, we used these skills for great participation in roller ball. Keep practicing those rolling pick ups while staying on the feet, lots of throwing, catching and kicking balloons or balls at home.

Very well done to our player of the week duo Jack and Carlie-Ann for their smiles, enthusiasm and listening throughout the session. See you all back in the MTU next week. Registration is now due via foireann.

Well done to our u9 boys for our best session so far on Sunday Last .The weather played its part and the rain stayed away. Big improvements clearly visible with this group over the last 4 weeks and the practice at home every week is key.

A fine turn out of U11 boys trained at the MTU Sunday. Great effort was made in the skill drills while Thomas, Dylan Murphy and Jace stood out during the training match. It was also great to see Ben back at training.
