Juvenile Academy

U5

GO ST PATS!!  Well done to all the boys and girls who trained with under 5s on the Astro this week. We had a fun session with lots of evasion, ball skills, and teaching the tackle. Those who wanted to play a match did while fun team games continued for the others. We are delighted to see new boys and girls joining and were very impressed with our players of the week; Darragh who joined recently for his enthusiasm & getting stuck in! Rian Hayes also impressed today for his independence and joining in all the games. Great work boys!

U7

The U7’s continued training on Sunday, it was a fun energetic session with lots of new skills being practiced. Keep up the good work boys!

U8 Girls

Well done to all our enthusiastic girls on Sunday Morning who gave 100% in a fun and competitive session.!! Their coaches were delighted. The improvement is great to see week on week so keep encouraging the girls to practice at home. Well done to Kiera our well-deserved POTW this week. We have some GoGames on the way soon too and an U-8 blitz, details to follow.

U9

A great week for our u9’s we hosted Cromane GAA on Tuesday last and had 3 super games of football, well done to all our u9 boys & girls. After Kerry’s great win on Saturday our u9’s arrived at training Sunday morning full of energy. We worked on our high catch and soloing on the run, some fun games and finished with a very competitive match. Keep up the practice at home during the week! Next match will probably be Monday 10th away to Beaufort, same to be confirmed!

U10 Girls

We had an excellent session on Sunday Morning with great enthusiasm and great skills on display from the Girls.

Our player of the week was exceptional she picked up a bad injury but showed great courage and tenacity to fight through it and was well deserving of the player of week award.

U11

A high intensity training session took the place of our usual Thursdays match and the boys really stepped up to the challenge. A return to basics was offered up in our skills drills and the training match was played with super effort from all involved.

Training in Blennerville is back on Sunday 9th July at 12pm.

Please keep an eye on the WhatsApp groups and Foireann for updates.

U12 Girls

Training continued this week for the U12’s ahead of our next game in the county league at home against Ballyduff B Tuesday at 7pm.

U13

Training continues as usual for our U13’s this week.

U14 Girls

The U14 Girls played the second game in the county league away to Mitchels B on Sunday evening. The girls put in a great performance from start to finish in the game and were delighted to come away with a well-deserved win.

They deserve credit once again for playing the entirety of the game without any subs on a full-sized pitch!

Considering most of the team are still U12 they never gave up even with tired legs and continued to put on a fantastic display of Football, working together amazingly as a team. The next round of the county league is on Thursday evening at 5.30 away to Austin Stacks B.

U15

Our u15 ‘s suffered a defeat at home to Ardfert on Wednesday. Missing a few key players due to injury and holidays we conceded an early goal and struggled to match a strong Ardfert attack.  We will train Wednesday and Friday this week.  We wish Jack Costello and Darragh Murphy a speedy recovery from injury.

Seniors

Our seniors play their final game in the County League on Sunday 9th of July at 2pm away to Keel.

Congratulations

To Kerry Ladies who defeated Cavan last weekend.

To Kerry who defeated Tyrone last weekend.

Speedy Recovery

To Jack Costello and Darragh Murphy who are injured.

Sympathy

The club would like to extend its sympathy to the families and friends of Joe Dowling Banna & Kilflynn and Michael Moran Rock Street.
