Juvenile Academy

U5

A small group had fun on the astroturf with coaches Aiden, Johnathon and Anthony. Our star players this week were Carly- Anne and Archie. Keep up the practice boys and girls and we look forward to having a big crowd back when the holiday season ends!

U7 Boys/U8 Girls

The U8 girls joined the U7 boys on Sunday Morning as many of the kids and parents travelled to Croke Park to support the Kerry ladies’ team! Well done to all the kids who practiced their solos and catching, we did a possession game and then a match!

Both boys and girls really enjoyed the match getting really stuck in, so keep up the practice at home and improve your skills! You can see how each one of the kids are improving week by week!

U9

Our u9’s made the trip into John Mitchels on Sunday. We played 3 great competitive games with everyone having great fun. Both teams were wishing the Kerry Ladies the best for the final. A big thanks to John Mitchels for hosting us. Training continues next Sunday at 10:30am

U11

U-11’s played another round of Central Region League last Thursday away to Churchill. Well done to all our players who played in 2 very competitive and hard-fought matches.

There was some great displays of skill and determination on show. A Special mention this week for Sean Lynch it was great to see him back in action again after his recent injury.

We are scheduled to play Templenoe at home this Thursday evening the 17th hope to see ye all there. It’s important you all continue to attend our training sessions and also keep practicing your skills at home during the week. The training and match details for the week will be circulated to parents shortly. Naomh Pádraig Abú!!

U12 Girls

The U12 Girls had another successful County League Final on Wednesday evening last at home against Inbheir Sceine Gaels in a tough but exciting game.

The Girls went behind at the beginning and it wasn’t looking good but through to form they never gave up! They fought every ball and eventually we got the better of our opponents and came away with a mighty victory!

Well done everyone, all in St Pats are very proud of these girls who have now won two finals this year.

It was a well-deserved win, and you should all be so proud of yourselves. Once again thanks to your parents for your continuous support and encouragement on the sideline. The girls couldn’t do it without you all.

U14 Girls

Many of the U12/ U14 Girls had a fantastic treat on Sunday last when their coaches brought them to Dublin on the St Pats supporters’ bus to support our Girls in Green, the day wasn’t for the Kingdom, but many memories were made on the day to Croke Park that will stay with the young fans for many years to come.

The U14’s have reached a semi-final. We are scheduled to play away to Inbheir Sceine Gaels on Monday 14th at 7pm. St Pats Abú!

St Pats’ Kerry supporters got to meet ‘The Star’ on their trip to Croke Park for the Kerry Ladies Game on Sunday.

U13

Commiserations to our u13 boys who gave it a good shot last Friday night against a strong Castleisland Desmonds team in front of their home crowd in the Central Region semi final. Our backs defended heroically throughout the whole game.

We struggled to win primary possession and therefore our forwards were starved of opportunities to score. We were down a few regulars through holidays, injury, and illness but the boys tried to the very end, which is what we asked of them.

Thanks to Billy Lacey from John Mitchels for officiating and we wish both Desmonds and Renard/St Mary’s/Valentia the best of luck in the final.

Team: Gearóid Hingston, Charlie Sharp, Luke O’Sullivan, Jake Kelly, Aidan Berry (C), Jace Flynn, James Daly, Rían Flynn, Callum Rice, Darragh Flahive, Hugh Costello, Noah Flynn, AJ Turner, Rylan Flynn, and Thomas Colivet.

As our competitive season comes to an end, we will take a break for a week and return back to training with a view to playing a few blitzes between now and the end of the season. For now, we encourage all the lads to keep practicing their skills at home and we’ll be in touch in a few days regarding training.

St Brendan’s U15’s
