Lotto

There was no winner of our Club Lotto Jackpot on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 09, 15, 25 & 27. The five €30 consolation prizes went to Kevin Walsh c/o Dwyers, Kiaran O Connor Curragraigue, Billy Lyons c/o Rock St. PO, Marie O Shea Curraheen and Pat O Connor Curragraigue. Next week’s Lotto will have a Jackpot of €4,700 and the draw will take place this Sunday night February 14th in O’Dwyer’s Bar. Lotto tickets are available from the usual outlets or any club officer.

Juvenile Academy

U6’s: We had another great turnout last Sunday with every player giving it 100% with James Daly, Ben Deegan and Sarah Greaney showing great skill and determination. A special mention goes to Aoife Kennedy who received our footballer of the week trophy. Well done Aoife.

U8’s: Comhgairdeas le Roibeard O’ Se, Peileadoir an Seachtaine seo  chaite. Bhi se ar fheabhas. Well done also to Caoilionn Culloo, Jack Costello and Rory Daly. Our numbers are fantastic and everyone is having great fun. Training resumes same time next week.

U10’s: The St. Pats under 10’s  Boys & Girls were in academy action last Sunday. We had a good turnout at training in the Pres Hall. Everyone put in a great effort practicing and improving their skills during the session with Rory Kelleher, Killian O’Mahony, Caitlinn O’Grady and Kayla O’Connor giving it their all during the session. Congratulations to Fionn Dairo on winning footballer of the week trophy.

It is important that you all keep practicing your skills at home during the week. We hope to see you all at training Sunday at 11am in the Pres. Hall, Moyderwell Tralee.

U12’s: Training continues on Friday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm on our astro turf.

U14’s: Training continues on Thursday from 6.00pm to 7.00pm on our  astro turf.

U16’s: Training continues on Friday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on our astro turf.

Girls: Outdoor training to resume as soon as the weather improves.

Seniors

The second round game in the Brendan’s League vs Mitchels was also called off last weekend due to an unplayable pitch. Training however continues on Tuesday & Friday nights at 7:30pm on our astro turf.

Feile

St Pats are honoured to have been selected as one of the host teams for Féile Peil Na Nog South West 2016 which takes place on June 24th-June 26th.

This event involves our U14 team.  Our committee and U14 coaches have begun their preparations to ensure that this is a successful event for our U14 team, our club and the locality and will ensure that the red carpet will be rolled out for our visiting team.

Seamus Murphy (0879249531) and Brenda Doody (08688887889) are the points of contact if you wish to get involved in this fantastic event.
 

 

Registration
There was a good response to the 2016 membership registration night last Friday night held in Blennerville NS. Thanks to everyone who has registered so far. Registration for members and families of the u6’s, u8’s and u10’s can be completed at the Academy session in the Presentation school PE hall on Sunday morning at the usual times.

Congratulations
Congratulations to Chief Superintendent Pat Sullivan who recently retired after 41 years service in An Garda Síochána.
Sympathy
The club would like to extend its sympathy to the family and friends of Agnes Bowler The Kerries. May she rest in peace.
