STEPHEN O’Brien has been cleared to play in the All-Ireland football final, after the black card he received against Meath was rescinded earlier this evening.
He was facing an automatic one-match ban after receiving three black cards this season. He received his third in the game against Tyrone last Sunday.
However, the Kerry County Board has successfully appealed the black card he received against Meath in the Super 8s, so he’s clear to concentrate on the clash against Dublin on September 1.
